The history of San Miguel Fair in Seville dates back to 1875, when an agricultural and commercial fair dedicated to San Miguel began, which takes place on September 29. Like all major events, the fair was accompanied by bullfights and, although the trade fair ceased in 1970, bullfights last. San Miguel Fair is celebrated on the occasion of the saint's feast, on September 29, and is made to coincide with the last weekend of September.

How many bullfights does it have?

The bullring management company, Empresa Pagés, configures a cycle of three bullfighting celebrations: a steer-bullfight and two extraordinary bullfights that are the last of the Sevillian season. The posters of San Miguel Fair are presented at the time of the whole season ticket.

The steer-bullfight is made up of winners of the year and announced in early September; and the bullfights are two luxury posters full of figures and equally successful of the first promotion ladder. In addition, the alternative of some young Sevillian bullfighter in these celebrations is habitual.
